Job Description

The Mixer Operator in a manufacturing environment accurately follows batch sheets to formulate products, operates material handling equipment, and supports production by moving, blending, and batching materials. This role maintains strict safety and sanitation standards while documenting production data and contributing to continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
Responsibilities

Accurately follow batch sheets to ensure proper formulation of products.
Document all production data clearly and completely for performance measurement and compliance purposes.
Adhere to all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements as outlined in Work Order Traveler documents.
Move materials through the Work Order Management process, including handling multi-bin materials.
Operate sit-down forklifts to move raw materials, intermediates, and finished products safely and efficiently.
Lift up to 50 lbs to load ingredients into mixers and move boxes or containers as needed.
Perform batching, compounding, and blending activities according to established procedures.
Carry out sanitation duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Complete all housekeeping functions in the filling and production areas, including cleaning equipment and workspaces.
Collaborate with team members and cross-train in different departments to support overall production needs.
Essential Skills

1+ year of mixing and production experience in a GMP environment.
Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow batch sheets and work order documentation.
Experience with general production tasks, including batching, compounding, and blending.
Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Commitment to following safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times.
Willingness to work early-morning shifts on a consistent schedule.
Reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility that produces cleaning and sanitation solutions. The site houses a production team of approximately 60 people, supported by a larger sales organization. You work in a hands-on production area that involves batching, blending, compounding, and filling operations, with frequent use of sit-down forklifts and handling of materials and boxes up to 50 lbs. The environment can be dirty at times and is non-climate controlled so must be okay working in a non clean environment!

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
