Senior Copywriter

**Role Specific Information****Job Description**This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.**About the Role**In this role you will craft compelling copy, balance multiple high-visibility projects, partner with art directors from concept to execution and help maintain the brand voice across channels.**What You’ll Do*** Craft memorable headlines with wit and polish using Kohl's brand voice guide* Lead copy development for seasonal and brand campaigns* Partner closely with other writers, art directors and designers* Collaborate with AI to optimize copywriting and concepting* Present copy and concepts with partners to leaders and stakeholders* Translate customer insights into relevant and engaging copy* Tailor copy for each channel using best practices* Ensure grammatical and stylistic accuracy using Kohl's copy style guide* Incorporate feedback so copy is up-to-date throughout the lifecycle of a project* Adhere to production schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met* Additional tasks may be assigned**What Skills You Have**Required* Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or English and 5+ years of related experience* Superior grasp of grammar and style as indicated by test* Demonstrated copywriting and conceptual ability as indicated by portfolioPreferred* Retail or fashion experience* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Miro* Experience writing brand manifestos, concept statements, humor or broadcast**Essential Functions**The requirements listed below are representative of functions you will be required to perform, however you may be required to perform additional functions.
