The Social Media Specialist utilizes subject matter expertise to support the execution and growth of our social media channels. The Specialist is critical in driving day‑to‑day operations that enable the team to move faster, scale output, and focus on high‑impact strategy.

This position owns the operational engine of social, including scheduling, publishing, reporting, and paid campaign support, while also leveraging insights and expertise to refine strategies contributing to content execution and optimization.

Responsibilities

Oversees multi‑platform scheduling, publishing, and day‑to‑day management of social media content

Plans and manages social calendars and coordinates cross‑channel posting needs to ensure a cohesive brand voice

Applies specialized knowledge to ensure all content is deployed accurately, on time, and aligned with brand standards

Paid Social

Develops and executes paid social campaigns by partnering with internal teams and agencies to implement initiatives that drive business results

Evaluates industry trends and performance data to recommend optimization strategies for paid placements

Assesses the effectiveness of paid strategies and utilizes subject matter expertise to identify areas for improved ROI

Content Production

Facilitates content formatting, resizing, and platform‑specific needs

Provides technical expertise for light video editing (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and creative adjustments to maintain consistent content output across all channels

Executive & Cross‑Channel

Manages executive visibility across Keller Williams social channels, including specialized content publishing and light editing for leadership

Directs and implements rapid‑response and reactive content needs across the business to address real‑time opportunities or issues

Coordinates with agency partners and internal stakeholders on edits and deliverables

Analytics

Analyzes and interprets social media performance data to provide insights and present recommendations for growth strategies

Uses data and analytics to measure success and prepares reports that inform data‑driven decisions for content optimization

Maintains dashboards and reporting cadence across teams

Community Engagement

Engages with social communities and monitors audience sentiment to evaluate brand health and provide insights for content optimization

Analyzes audience sentiment to resolve complex inquiries and identifies potential PR risks or sensitive issues for escalation to appropriate internal teams

Other

Provides guidance on cross‑functional projects where subject matter expertise is needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Four (4) years of relevant education and work experience may be substituted for degree

Minimum of three (3) years of specialized experience in social media, digital marketing, or related field

Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (Meltwater, Sprout Social, etc.)

Familiarity with paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

Polished and professional demeanor

Well versed in industry developments, techniques, and trends

Preferred Requirements

Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar)
