Responsibilities
The Senior Associate of Commercial Strategy supports commercial strategy initiatives by providing market intelligence, federal policy and tariff impact analysis, conducting industry and competitive analysis, preparing strategic reports, and supporting deal‑making processes. This position combines market research and marketing operation functions in a multiplayer capacity, managing market intelligence, competitive positioning and strategic communication.

Conduct market intelligence research including competitor analysis, industry trends, pricing benchmarks and market sizing for PV modules and EPC services

Prepare comprehensive strategic reports, market analysis documents and competitive intelligence briefings for management and C‑level stakeholders

Conduct industry research and provide market updates on regulatory changes, technology developments and competitive movements

Advanced skills in creating and managing PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and Excel analyses for strategy reviews and external client presentations

Support marketing initiatives including development of company materials, trade show planning, PR support and marketing collateral

Analyze sales pipeline data and market trends to provide actionable insights for deal support and strategic planning

Support deal‑making processes by providing market context, competitive positioning analysis and strategic recommendations

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management

Regular attendance in accordance with company’s attendance policy

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, international trade or related field; MBA preferred

Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in market research, renewable energy, policy analysis, business strategy, marketing or related functions

Bilingual in English and Korean (written and verbal)

Strong quantitative analytics background with experience in data analysis, research methodologies and market research

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) required

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with ability to create professional presentations and analytical reports

Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels

Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality, error‑free deliverables

Self‑directed with ability to work independently and effectively on multiple market research projects in a dynamic work environment

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience in renewable energy sector (solar, wind, storage, utility‑scale renewable energy projects) with demonstrated knowledge of module, PV or energy systems markets

Experience with industry research databases, institutional research reports or market intelligence platforms (BNEF, Wood Mackenzie, SEIA)

Physical Demands

Stationary position: frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours a day

Move/Traverse: infrequently bend, stand, stoop and walk

Carry weight: infrequently carry weight up to 10 pounds

Hearing and speech: frequently communicate with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents and office objects near and far

Climb: occasionally ascend/descend stairs to get to office upper and lower floors

Travel: up to 20% as needed
