The Director of Sales will be responsible for identifying and generating new business through outside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, territory planning, and relationship building. The Director of Sales will target midsize to large accounts ($500K - $3M+) within their assigned region as well as nationally as assigned by the head of sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales budgets as an individual contributor.
- Identify and generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, territory planning, and strategic relationship development.
- Perform thorough prospecting and screening activities to identify qualified clients for new business opportunities.
- Use advanced consultative sales strategies to overcome client objections and maximize sales performance within assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing, or related field).
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience (staffing industry preferred).
- Proven track record of sales success within mid‑to-large accounts.
- Strong rapport-building, relationship‑management, and strategic selling abilities.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms preferred.
- Highly proficient in presentations, negotiation, and executive communication.
