The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) received a grant from the ECMC Foundation within the funder’s Career Readiness Portfolio to create the following deliverables focused on adult learners in Tennessee:
The formation of the Tennessee Reconnect Success Collaborative, which includes THEC, Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), DLWFD, and DHS
Cross agency asset mapping
The creation, maintenance, and evaluation of the QuickScreener to screen for eligibility for certain benefits and resources
Trainings on cultural competency, student parents, and trauma-informed student support for Navigators
Cross-training on resources/benefits available through TDHS, TDLWD, and THEC for adult Tennesseans pursuing postsecondary education and training.
THEC is searching for a vendor to assist in completing the final deliverable to create short 2-3 minute online asynchronous training modules on several benefit programs and resources that will serve to fulfill the deliverable related to cross-training on resources/benefits available through TDHS, TDLWD and THEC for adult Tennesseans pursuing postsecondary education and training. Programs may include, but not be limited to: SNAP; SNAP Employment and Training; TANF (Families First); Childcare Payment Assistance; WIC; Lifeline; LIHEAP; WIOA (Adults, Dislocated Workers, and Re-Entry Services); State and Federal Financial Aid Programs

Contractors notified of Project Award - June 19, 2023
Deliverables:
Vendor will deliver a minimum ten (10) to a maximum fifteen (15) training videos each 2-3 minutes each describing benefits programs available through the State of Tennessee, as determined by THEC. The videos will be of original design, utilizing animation and screen capture as determined by the vendor and the agency. THEC will approve the look and feel of the video prior to execution of video creation.
The vendor will provide scripting for each video with guidance from THEC and associated agency contacts. THEC will provide brief outlines for each video and vendor will follow with a draft script for review and refinement and vendor will provide a final script for approval.
Vendor may be required to gather additional information from other state agencies to complete the content for the videos. THEC will provide contacts to appropriate staff at those agencies.
The final videos must be delivered to THEC no later than July 31, 2023.
