YOUR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The graphic designer works with the Vice President of Brand Strategy and other team members in design and marketing to develop and execute marketing initiatives, leveraging creative skills, visual storytelling, user-focused thinking, and a strong understanding of current design, video, and digital tools.
This role primarily focuses on high-quality graphic design for print and digital channels, with additional duties supporting short-form video content for social media and improving digital experiences for web and campaign initiatives.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE TEAM INCLUDES
· Design and layout of marketing collateral across print and digital platforms, including advertisements, sales materials, presentations and branded assets.
· Create visually engaging graphic assets to support social media content, campaigns and promotions, ensuring brand consistency across platforms.
· Contribute to digital experience projects by helping with basic web UI layouts, landing page design, and visual enhancements for usability and engagement.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and content teams to translate concepts into compelling visual stories that align with brand goals.
· Deliver high-quality creative work within brand guidelines and timeframes to meet deadlines.
· Multitask across a variety of internal and client-facing projects, managing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Education
· Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital media, or related concentration (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven Experience
· 2-4 years of prior experience designing for print and digital media.
· Demonstrated ability to design and develop a range of assets, including magazine layouts, display ads, emails, landing pages, social media graphics, presentations and basic web UI.
· Experience creating visual content for social media; exposure to video editing or motion graphics is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently to meet deadlines.
· A portfolio showcasing graphic design work across print, digital and social channels; inclusion of video or motion samples is a plus.
Technologies You'll Use
· Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; familiarity with Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus)
· WordPress and basic web content tools
· Social media platforms and digital content standards
· Microsoft Office
· ClickUp
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Raleigh, NC. While some remote work is possible, a full-time remote work arrangement is not viable for this position. Relocation assistance cannot be provided for this position. Compensation will be based on the applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
