Freelance Pop Culture Writer

A company is looking for a Contributing Writer, Pop Culture (Freelance).
Key Responsibilities

Own and execute three weekly newsletter sends via Substack, including pitching and self-editing
Pitch timely, culturally relevant angles on pop culture through the Betches voice
Develop editorial strategies to grow subscribers and increase engagement

Required Qualifications

3+ years of editorial experience in digital media or pop culture commentary
Strong comedic writing skills and a clear, confident point of view
Proficiency in Substack, including publishing workflows and analytics
Experience writing and editing at a similar publication
Deep fluency in internet culture, memes, and Millennial/Gen Z humor
