Social Media Specialist

Responsibilities

A deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest, including platform best practices, content formats, trends, and audience behavior.

A strong understanding and a clear point of view on what makes content scroll-stopping, engaging, and platform-native

Experience ideating, creating, and editing social content, especially short-form video

Ability to work independently, but you also know how to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners to move projects forward

Strong writing skills with solid communication skills and know how to tailor messaging for different platforms, audiences, and creative formats

Comfort in guiding creators, designers, editors, influencers, or agency partners and can give clear, actionable creative direction

Experience with social media management, reporting, and trend-monitoring tools such as Sprout Social or similar platforms

Experience interpreting performance data, spot patterns, and turn learnings into better creative decisions

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment without dropping details

Proactive, self-directed, and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through

Interest in health and wellness and excited by the opportunity to create content in a space that is constantly evolving.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task

Equipment Knowledge

Experience CapCut or Adobe Premiere Preferred

Experience with Sprout Social

Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Experience Requirements
Generally requires a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in social media, content, digital marketing, or a related role. Experience managing or contributing to brand social accounts preferred.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
