Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization saving the lives of abandoned and abused dogs and cats across California and Mexico. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, we give animals a second chance. Our work is made possible by a passionate team—and powerful storytelling.
Role Summary:
A picture is worth a thousand second chances. As our Event Photographer/Videographer Volunteer, you’ll help bring our mission to life through compelling visual stories. Whether you’re capturing the joy of an adoption event or the quiet resilience of a newly rescued pup, your images and videos will help us connect with our supporters and grow our impact.
You will:
Photograph animals, fosters, and events in the San Diego area
Capture video content for reels, campaigns, and behind-the-scenes moments
Help edit and organize content for use on social media, website, and fundraising materials
Collaborate with our team on storyboards, shot ideas, and visual direction
What We’re Looking For:
Photography and/or videography experience (personal or professional)
Access to your own camera or high-quality phone camera
Basic editing skills and creative storytelling mindset
Passion for animals and mission-driven storytelling
