Our team is responsible for the end‑to‑end digital and physical Guest and Cast experience for all technology & digital‑led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, PhotoPass and Merchandise lines of business, including room and tickets e‑commerce and products such as Hey Disney!, MagicBand+, Disney Genie and Disney Genie+.
What You Will Do:
This position supports our maps products within the App and Web platforms, focusing on maintaining and updating map imagery and supporting the Transportation Line of Business, including the turn‑by‑turn directions feature. Frequent on‑site visits at Walt Disney World Resort are required to ensure product accuracy and to deliver configuration deployments that may occur overnight, on weekends or holidays. The role supports operational requests across multiple destinations: Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland. The ideal candidate understands consumer‑facing websites, mobile, and digital marketing.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Champion the digital Guest experience, advocating on the Guest’s behalf and building an outstanding experience for Disney Guests.
Understand and execute the digital product strategy for Guest or Cast experiences.
Translate the digital strategy into prioritized user stories, business requirements, and other product documentation including acceptance criteria and test cases.
Support and maintain feature development and backlog, attending daily scrums to drive priority decisions and remove roadblocks.
Ensure delivery of product requirements across the development lifecycle, partnering with design and technology teams to align visual design, content strategy, copywriting and development with the strategic vision.
Contribute to developing the go‑to‑market strategy for digital Guest or Cast experiences.
Develop presentations to share and build advocacy for the digital strategy with executive audiences and partners across the organization.
Support ongoing Guest and Cast experience by monitoring product performance, supporting A/B tests, and recommending opportunities to enhance Disney Parks, Experiences and Products digital platforms, including mobile apps and websites.
Support delivery and maintenance of product builds, content configuration and on‑call collaboration to ensure uptime of the digital experience as needed.
Manage partner relationships, lead expectations, scope, budget discussions and project communications, providing partners with a consistent point of contact and accountability for digital business needs.
Ensure timely, on‑budget, on‑strategy delivery of marketing‑ and operations‑related projects, raising unresolved business, strategy, scope and budget issues as appropriate to leadership.
Ensure appropriate review and sign‑off of key results with partners.
Coordinate between Operational teams and vendors in asset creation; project management experience is beneficial.
Coordinate with internal teams including copywriters, designers, Public Relations, and Legal for business‑driven content updates.
Deploy content configuration updates as needed by the operation, possibly outside business hours.
Evaluate, measure, and update transit directions, collaborating with third‑party vendors and internal operation partners. GTFS file management experience is beneficial.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of digital product management (website/mobile).
Minimum of 1 year of combined business, agency and/or digital experience.
Experience with marketing, brand strategy, technology, and/or digital strategy.
Provide overall leadership across multiple teams, delivering quality on time.
Think strategically and drive ideas into action with a positive outlook and willingness to take initiative.
Experience with technical, user, and business issues in a fast‑paced digital organization.
Proficient with tools, systems and processes that support go‑to‑market delivery and triage of content, data configuration, and service integration.
Advanced experience with complex content management or similar systems for building and maintaining websites and mobile apps, including daily updates to copy, media, building new pages and troubleshooting.
Outstanding verbal and written communication and project leadership skills, including the ability to influence at an executive level.
Analytical and quantitative skills; use hard data and metrics to back assumptions and develop project cases.
Collaborate and achieve results through others, build strong and balanced relationships, and interact at all levels of the organization. Comfortable working with bi‑coastal and international teams.
Experience with Agile software development methodology, including JIRA/Confluence.
Preferred experience with iOS/Android release process.
Preferred experience with CMS content configuration and deployment.
Preferred experience with GTFS file management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $92,900.00 to $124,500.00 per year. Base pay will be determined by internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, knowledge, skills and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be part of the compensation package, along with the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
