Slingwave | Full-Time, Greater Twin Cities, Minnesota-based
About Slingwave
Slingwave is a compounding intelligence platform built for brands that want to know what's working in their media and what to do next. We unify measurement, experimentation, and optimization in one place - combining MMM+ (Media Mix Modeling), Velocity AI (Agile Marketing Attribution), and SAGE AI (Experimentation Workbench) into a system that gets smarter over time.
We work with leading eCommerce, D2C, and CPG brands, with a particular focus on the three platforms that drive the bulk of their growth:
Google, Meta, and Amazon . Backed by seasoned industry operators and scaling fast, we're looking for a Digital Media Specialist to help our clients turn strategy into measurable outcomes across these channels and beyond.
The Role
We're hiring a full-time Digital Media Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns for our client partners, with a primary focus on Google, Meta, and Amazon. You'll spend most of your time hands‑on-keyboard in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display), and Amazon DSP - rounded out with display, video, audio, and CTV/OTT where it fits the plan.
This is a hands‑on role with real client exposure and a clear path for growth. You'll own campaigns end to end, partner directly with our analytics team, build lasting client relationships, and bring fresh thinking on platforms, creative, and measurement. As we scale, the people who built our earliest client portfolios will have the first shot at leading them.
What You'll Do
Plan and run paid media campaigns
with Google, Meta, and Amazon as the core of most plans, extending into programmatic display, video, audio, and CTV/OTT as the strategy calls for it. Optimize continuously against client KPIs and budgets.
Own Amazon end to end.
Build and manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns; run upper‑funnel and retargeting through Amazon DSP; and align retail media activity with the rest of the client's mix.
Run Google and Meta at a high level.
Manage Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and Demand Gen in Google Ads; build full‑funnel Advantage+ and manual campaigns in Meta across Facebook and Instagram.
Develop media recommendations and POVs
that bring the latest platform features, ad products, and creative approaches to bear on each client's goals - especially within the Google/Meta/Amazon ecosystem.
Own client relationships
for your campaigns. Be a reliable, knowledgeable point of contact from kickoff through wrap‑up, and grow into a trusted advisor over time.
Translate performance into insight.
Partner with our analytics team to build reporting on attribution, ROAS, and media mix performance, and present post‑campaign analyses via written reports and live video readouts.
Run campaign operations cleanly.
Manage flowcharts, media authorizations, billing trackers, and status tools alongside the broader media team.
Stay ahead of the landscape.
Track emerging platforms, new ad products (especially within Google, Meta, and Amazon), and competitive activity, and bring informed perspectives back to client strategy.
Contribute to growth.
Support new business pitches and help expand our client portfolio.
What We're Looking For

of hands‑on digital media planning and buying experience at an agency or in‑house.
Deep, hands‑on fluency in our three core platforms:

Additional channel experience
is a plus across:

Paid social: TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, X, or Snapchat
Measurement literacy.
Comfortable with attribution models, ROAS analysis, and media mix reporting. Bonus points for experience with SpyFu, SEMrush, Comscore, or Helixa.
Strong client communication.
Able to present recommendations and results clearly in writing and on camera. Comfortable in front of marketing and finance stakeholders.
Operational discipline.
Strong organization, time management, and a knack for juggling multiple campaigns without dropping balls.
Tooling.
Solid command of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
U.S.-based and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Build trusted client relationships and grow into a strategic media partner.
Work at the intersection of media, data, and AI in a fast‑moving environment that takes measurement seriously.
