Media Buyer – Strategist
to join our growing Media team onsite at our corporate headquarters in Whippany, NJ. This role will support the development and execution of multi‑channel strategies that drive performance and deliver results for our clients across digital, social, OOH, print, TV/radio, and more.
As a Media Buyer – Strategist, you will support the development and execution of multi‑channel media strategies that drive performance and deliver results. With a solid understanding of both traditional and digital platforms, you’ll help optimize campaigns across Display, Social, OOH, Print, TV/Radio, and more. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands‑on media buying, and analytical skills to ensure campaigns are performing effectively and aligned with client goals.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, media partners, and leadership to bring data‑driven ideas to life, contribute to campaign success, and continuously improve performance.
This position reports to the Director of Media and is based on‑site at our corporate headquarters in Whippany, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of paid media strategies across multiple platforms, aligning with marketing goals and KPIs.
Manage and optimize campaign budgets to support performance goals, including ROI, ROAS, and CPA.
Conduct audience research and competitive analysis to identify targeting opportunities and inform media planning.
Support testing and optimization of creative, copy, placements, and bidding strategies.
Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to internal teams.
Track pacing and assist in reconciling media spend to ensure accurate delivery and alignment with campaign budgets.
Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and platform updates, while building relationships with media partners.
Support new business efforts and campaign planning as needed.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in media buying and/or strategy, preferably in an agency or fast‑paced environment.
Experience across a mix of channels such as Display, Paid Social, Programmatic, and/or traditional media (OOH, Print, TV/Radio).
Familiarity with platforms such as Meta, Google, Programmatic DSPs, TikTok, LinkedIn, or similar.
Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign reporting, optimization, and basic testing methodologies.
Ability to interpret data and contribute to performance‑driven recommendations.
Clear communicator who works well in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Organized, proactive, and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Bonus: Experience with eCommerce, DTC, or B2B marketing.
Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000
