. As a

Graphic Designer,

you will conceptualize, create, and execute printed and digital artwork for our enchanting park, supporting company branding and guest experience. This role collaborates with internal teams to deliver high-quality, engaging visual materials in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Manage graphic project from initial concept through final production, including creative development, layout, sourcing and printing.

Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts for departments and divisions throughout the Company, based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts utilizing the corporate style guide standards.

Utilize PC based operating systems to generate designs for review by supervisor and client departments. Ensure that all artwork is approved through the appropriate channels before post production.

Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.

Review proofs with supervisor and client departments and respond with revisions that incorporate their feedback to produce a final product that meets their needs.

Assist in recommending production methods considering quantities and budget constraints.

Prepare final files for printer.

Write request for quotations, requisitions for materials, and keep an inventory of typically used products in stock for production of signage.

Assist in analyzing printers' proofs and recommend any needed corrections

Attend press checks for color approval.

Inspect printed material upon receipt.

Adhere to production schedules to insure meeting deadlines.

Select and modify (if necessary) photos for each project

Organize and prioritize jobs based on workload and deadlines.

Work with outside departments to get desired end result in a creative and efficient manner.

Adheres to and enforces all Worlds of Fun and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment

Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Worlds of Fun Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

Meets Worlds of Fun's attendance requirements as outlined in Enchanted Parks' attendance policies.

Adheres to Worlds of Fun's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.

Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law

Assist with additional duties as assigned by leadership

What We're Looking For

Minimum age: 18

Associate's Degree (2 Year College or Tech School) in Graphic Design

or related field

2-4 Years Related Experience

Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills

Ability to understand English at a level sufficient to receive and perform basic job assignments and instructions.

Must have a minimum of a two-year associate degree in graphic design or related field or show experience equal to aforementioned degree in portfolio review.

Must have at least two years experience graphic design software with knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and any other pertinent software.

Must have critical thinking and problem solving skills, general math skills, average typing speed, general knowledge of pre-press.

Must have general knowledge of all currently used methods of printing including mounting of images to applicable substrate and preparation of files to finished product.

Must be available to work flexible hours as needed.

Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
