About The Job
We are seeking a data‑driven and business‑savvy Digital Marketing Analyst to serve as the critical bridge between business needs and technical implementation. This role will own digital marketing analytics, support marketing tools to monitor campaign performance across various channels such as search, social media, email, and ecommerce, and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance, conversion, and ROI.

This position will ensure marketing analytics tools and supporting platforms such as Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) are functioning correctly and translating business and marketing requirements into actionable analytics solutions. As the go‑to resource for GTM and GA4, you will empower decision‑makers with clear, actionable data, collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and agency partners, and drive continuous improvement across all digital channels. You will also leverage insights to support ongoing optimizations, ensuring our digital strategies are both technically sound and aligned with business objectives for sustained growth.

Responsibilities

Bridge between business and technical teams:

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for GTM and GA4, ensuring seamless implementation and reporting.

Configure and maintain GTM:

Set up, test, and optimize tags, triggers, and data layers to capture relevant marketing and user behavior data across websites and apps.

Own GA4 analytics:

Monitor digital performance, create custom events, conversions, and audiences, and build dashboards to surface actionable insights (Looker Studio, PowerBI).

Track and troubleshoot data quality:

Troubleshoot tracking discrepancies and data quality issues.

Collaborate with agency partners:

Work closely with analytics agencies and website developers to ensure seamless implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of digital analytics and website tracking solutions.

Ensure data quality and compliance:

Maintain data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Train internal owners and marketers on how to access and interpret GA4 reports.

Stay current with digital analytics trends; continuously learn and apply best practices in digital analytics, GTM, and GA4.

Own and analyze digital marketing performance; develop dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Experience with user behavior analysis and translating performance insights into optimization recommendations across campaigns and experiences; A/B testing preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands‑on experience with GTM and GA4 (required).

Proficiency in GTM configuration, including media pixel implementation.

Strong understanding of GA4’s event‑based model.

Experience creating custom dimensions, metrics, and conversion events in GA4.

Ability to work with and understand basic JavaScript for data layer push techniques.

Expertise in GA4 reporting, filters, segmentation, and data visualization.

Knowledge of regex patterns for trigger and variable configuration.

Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non‑technical teams.

Experience documenting tracking requirements and implementation guides.

Employment Details
This position is remote. The compensation range is $85,000 – $115,000, commensurate with experience. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
