Marketing Platforms Solutions Manager Position Summary The Solutions Manager is responsible for managing the intake, prioritization, and delivery of work across enterprise marketing technology platforms. This role serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders, platform users, technical partners, and operations specialists to ensure solutions are effectively designed, implemented, and adopted.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities Solution Planning, Intake, and Prioritization (35%) Leads intake and discovery for platform-related requests and initiatives
Partners with stakeholders to understand business goals and operational needs
Translates requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and implementation priorities
Identifies dependencies, risks and delivery considerations
Maintains and prioritizes backlog
Delivery Management and Cross-Functional Coordination (30%) Coordinates work across internal/external stakeholders, IT partners and vendors
Supports sprint planning, backlog refinement and release readiness
Tracks work progress, and communicates status, risks and timelines
Validates completed work against requirements
Supports issue escalation and resolution
Platform Optimization and Continuous Improvement (20%) Identifies opportunities to improve workflows, user experience and platform efficiency
Recommends enhancements and automation opportunities
Supports adoption of new platform capabilities
Contributes to standards, governance and best practices
Evaluates AI-enabled opportunities to improve operational efficiency and discoverability
Testing, Documentation, and Release Support (15%) Supports user acceptance testing (UAT)
Reviews solution outcomes and validates functionality
Coordinates issue resolution before and after release
Supports transition to documentation and operational support
Ensures solution readiness for production deployment
Minimum Requirements Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in marketing, communications, business, information systems or related information technology field; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in digital platforms, technology solutions or operational delivery; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications Experience with enterprise marketing technology platforms such as CMS, DAM, email automation, search or customer data platforms
Experience in higher education, communications or complex organizational environments
Experience with vendor and IT partner coordination
Familiarity with accessibility, governance and workflow standards
Experience supporting AI-enabled process improvements
Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable work
Experience with backlog management, prioritization or agile workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams
