A luxury hospitality organization is seeking an Director of Sales to drive top-line revenue across Entertainment, Corporate, and High-End Leisure segments. This role is responsible for proactive sales leadership, strategic account management, and high-touch relationship development, while partnering closely with senior sales leadership to execute revenue strategies aligned with brand positioning, market dynamics, and long-term growth objectives.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, relationship-oriented, highly organized, and experienced within luxury or upper-upscale hospitality, with a strong network across entertainment, corporate, and premium leisure markets.
About the Role
The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue across various segments while managing key relationships and executing strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and grow a diversified portfolio of entertainment, corporate, and leisure accounts to maximize room revenue, length of stay, and market share.
- Drive entertainment-related business including film, television, music, fashion, media, long-term productions, and VIP travel.
- Manage corporate negotiated accounts, executive travel programs, and senior-level client relationships.
- Support high-value leisure and extended-stay opportunities, including VIP, UHNW, and agency-driven business.
- Identify and pursue new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, presentations, and client entertainment in alignment with brand standards.
- Travel as required for market visits, industry events, and relationship development.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in luxury or upper-upscale hospitality sales.
- Strong background in entertainment, corporate, and/or high-end leisure segments.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
- Experience managing RFPs, negotiated rate programs, and group contracts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with hotel PMS and CRM platforms (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership.
