Marching Band Drumline Director

Dassel Cokato Public Schools is looking to add a Drumline Instructor to their Marching Band Program.

Responsibilities

Assist the advisor in all aspects of program development
Attend all practices and parades
Teach drumline fundamentals, techniques, and performance skills for all aspects of parades
Work with the Marching Band Instructor to understand, refine, and help teach drill to the band
Help maintain drumline equipment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Percussion and Drumline performance and experience
Understanding of traditional and contemporary parade style and aesthetics
Knowledge of percussion techniques, music theory, and ensemble coordination
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
