About the Role
We are seeking a full‑time Business Development Representative to join our team. As a BDR, you will be an inside sales rep responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities to contribute to our sales goals. You will engage with prospects through multiple channels and manage the full sales cycle for both inbound and outbound opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Identify and prospect for new customers using high‑volume outbound prospecting tactics.
Set up quality meetings, manage a pipeline, nurture relationships, and close deals.
Develop creative, customized outreach strategies for potential customers.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
Only candidates in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine will be considered at this time.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2+ years as a Business Development Representative or Inside Sales Representative with a strong background in lead generation through cold calling and emails, managing a pipeline, and closing deals.
Preferred: Inside Sales experience selling into Public Safety and/or Education verticals.
Willingness to dive into new projects, experiment, quickly learn from failures, and scale successful efforts.
Proficiency in Outreach, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, or similar sales tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and leadership abilities, and problem‑solving skills.
A positive mindset, strong curiosity, coachability, and openness to learning new tools and practices.
Flexibility and patience in a rapidly growing environment, understanding that processes may change frequently.
Active listening skills, talent for building relationships, tactfully overcoming objections, and finding creative solutions to challenges.
