Graphic Designer

in our eCommerce department. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining web‑based graphic elements and advertisements utilizing best‑practice digital design principles and tools.

Skills

3 years of applicable experience in graphic design

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

Professional digital graphic design and email marketing design experience

Must be an expert user of the Adobe Creative Suite on PC platform

Must be an expert user of MS Office and can learn proprietary systems

Experience using email marketing software, preferably Acoustic; HTML, XHTML, and CSS experience a plus

Someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve our processes

A great fit with our culture and values and an active interest in the outdoor/sporting industry

What our Graphic Designer does

Responsible for creating, maintaining, and sending all customer‑facing promotional emails

Designs advertisements

Creates layout, proofs, and output of printed flyer pages; sends to the printer

Produces content for web interaction and print materials such as flyer and email design

Coordinates with other departments to ensure the accuracy and propriety of graphic work

Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts

Having experience with a Digital Asset Management Tool (DAM) and a Content Management Service (CMS) is helpful but not required
