Baseball Director – Camp Chipinaw

The Baseball Director manages the baseball and softball program for the summer, overseeing 2–3 staff, teaching daily lessons, and contributing to overall camp life.
Responsibilities

Lead 6–10 minute baseball and softball classes daily
Develop and implement lesson plans
Maintain field conditions and equipment
Umpire games and manage game schedules
Coordinate baseball tournaments
Serve as bunk counselor and mentor campers
Collaborate with other sports counselors
Qualifications

5+ years of coaching experience, preferably high‑school or college level
Experience running a sports program or team
Ability to supervise staff and manage program logistics
Strong communication and leadership skills
Passion for teaching the game of baseball
Dates & Compensation

June 19 – August 16, 2026
Salary: $4,000–$5,000 plus room & board, meals, and a travel stipend
Live‑in position with provided housing and meals
