Position Summary - This recruitment will be used to fill 3 part-time (10-24 hours per week during the school term and a maximum of 40 hours per week during term breaks) Student Employee Assistant Video Lecture Editor positions for Ecampus at Oregon State University (OSU). The Assistant Video Lecture Editor at Oregon State Ecampus edits and produces lecture videos for online students under the guidance of Ecampus Video and Lecture producers for OSU teaching faculty to advance the reputation of OSU and to fulfill the requirements of course learning objectives and accessibility. This position reports to a Multimedia Team Lead within OSU Ecampus. OSU Ecampus is part of the Division of Educational Ventures, which is comprised of Ecampus (online education), the Ecampus Research Unit, Open Educational Resources, Corporate and Workforce Education, and the Alternative Credentials Unit. It is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization with a commitment to providing access to Oregon State University's programs of excellence. The position is based on OSU's Corvallis campus; however, work may be performed remotely with approval during breaks from classes only. Position Duties - 80% Editing: video and audio editing with Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as Premiere Pro, Youtube captioning, motion graphics or on-screen titles 10% Other Duties: transcribing videos, file transfers, team communications, training
Minimum Qualifications - Full Employment Eligibility Requirements can be found here: https://hr.oregonstate.edu/student-employment-manual/500-employment-eligibility-requirements Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term * Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term ** International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered "full-time" by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
