Job Description
Morristown Junior-Senior High School is seeking a temporary substitute Choir teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The start date for this position is August 5, 2026.
Qualifications
Prior teaching experience and/or background in music preferred
Knowledge of best practices to meet the needs of students at various skill levels
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators
Ability to make data-informed decisions that build upon each child’s strengths and needs
Ability to incorporate technology effectively to support learning and instructionHighly organized, strong communication skills, and self-motivated
Requirements
Valid Indiana teaching license or substitute teaching license
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
