Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Public Relations Coordinator based in Shoreview, MN, with some remote work flexibility. The Coordinator will create and manage press releases, maintain media relations, develop and execute public relations strategies, and craft strategic communications. Responsibilities also include collaborating with stakeholders to promote MAPE’s mission, enhancing its public image, and effectively communicating with members, media, and the community.

Qualifications

Experience crafting press releases and engaging with media relations

Strong communication and public relations skills

Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic communications

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of union operations and labor relations is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
