Responsibilities
Identify, research, and secure sponsorship opportunities aligned with ACS Expo initiatives, including Pharma-focused programming and panel series
Develop and sell custom sponsorship packages tailored to targeted segments within the scientific community
Establish and manage pricing strategies for specialized sponsorship campaigns
Actively generate new business through cold outreach, lead follow-up, and networking at industry events
Attend regional and specialty conferences to prospect and close new sponsorship deals
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and contracting
Meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, fulfillment, and partner organizations to ensure successful campaign execution
Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, client interactions, and closed business within CRM systems
Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly revenue tracking reports
Partner with marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaign performance
Work cross-functionally to ensure all sponsorship deliverables are executed successfully

Experience Requirements
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management , preferably in event sponsorships, media, or advertising
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
Strong experience managing the full sales lifecycle , including closing deals
Ability to manage multiple accounts, events, and pricing strategies simultaneously
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree and relevant work experience is required for this position.
