Marketing, Operations & Business Development Manager
Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for integrating marketing strategy, operational execution, and business development initiatives to drive awareness, revenue growth, and organisational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Communications
Develop and execute integrated online and offline marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and lead generation
Oversee creation and production of marketing collaterals (EDMs, website, social media, press materials, reports, presentations, annual reports)
Manage media relations, PR activities, and agency partnerships to enhance brand visibility
Monitor campaign performance and optimise based on data analytics, ROI, and engagement metrics
Drive content strategy across platforms to strengthen brand positioning and audience engagement
Oversee management of The Singapore Marketer publication, including content direction and advertising revenue generation
2. Operations & Programme Execution
Oversee operational planning and execution for events, programmes, and marketing initiatives
Ensure smooth coordination across departments for programme delivery and event execution
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency
Manage timelines, resources, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Oversee AV, logistics, and production requirements for events and conferences
Monitor service delivery standards and ensure timely resolution of feedback across platforms
3. Business Development & Partnerships
Identify and develop new business opportunities, revenue streams, and strategic partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, media, and industry stakeholders
Drive lead generation strategies and conversion initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Develop and present proposals, sponsorship decks, and partnership frameworks
Explore opportunities for programme expansion, collaborations, and new market segments
Support revenue growth through advertising, sponsorships, and partnership-driven initiatives
4. Budgeting, Planning & Performance Management
Develop and manage annual marketing and operational budgets
Track and report on budget utilisation and ROI across campaigns and initiatives
Prepare and present marketing plans and strategic proposals for management approval
Establish KPIs and monitor performance across marketing, operations, and business development functions
5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the Marketing team to achieve departmental goals
Work closely with internal departments to ensure alignment of marketing and operational objectives
Manage external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure quality and timely deliverables
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across teams
6. Administrative & Ad-hoc
Maintain and manage marketing databases and CRM systems
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal processes
Undertake any other duties as assigned by Management
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field
Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or project/operations coordination
Proven ability to execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels, including social media, EDMs, and website content
Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage timelines, vendors, and multiple stakeholders effectively
Experience supporting events, campaigns, or programme execution, including basic operational and logistical coordination
Exposure to partnerships, sponsorships, or business development activities, including preparation of proposals and coordination with external stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing systems, and basic analytics tools
Familiarity with CRM systems and content management platforms is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders professionally
Hands‑on, resourceful, and execution‑driven, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of accountability
