Job Summary
The Video Coordinator supports Scalable Rural Digital Forensics (RDFI) initiatives by developing and producing high‑quality video content for training, outreach, and program promotion. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of video production and post‑production, ensuring content effectively communicates key messages to law enforcement, partners, and the community. The position collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to capture and deliver impactful visual storytelling. The Video Coordinator plays a critical role in enhancing program visibility, supporting training objectives, and strengthening engagement.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute video production projects in support of RDFI training, outreach, and program initiatives, including pre‑production planning and on‑site filming.
Capture high‑quality video and audio in a variety of environments, including training exercises, field settings, and events.
Edit and produce video content using industry‑standard software, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with RDFI messaging and objectives.
Collaborate with program staff, law enforcement partners, and stakeholders to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards for training and promotional content.
Manage and organize video assets, including secure storage, archiving, and version control, particularly for sensitive or restricted content.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Media Production or a related field from an accredited college or university. Two (2) years of experience in media production (e.g., camera operation, lighting, teleprompter) and/or post‑production (e.g., editing).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
Ability to analyze and prepare scripts, shot lists, and correspondence.
Familiarity with social media content strategy and measuring engagement.
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere.
Familiarity with RDFI goals and procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with everyone.
