Job Overview:
Global Offsite Care is seeking a Website Editor to join our team as a volunteer. The Website Editor will be responsible for ensuring the WordPress-based website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have experience in website editing, a passion for healthcare and technology, and knowledge of WordPress.
Responsibilities:
Edit and update website content on WordPress to ensure accuracy and relevance
Ensure the WordPress website is easy to navigate and user-friendly
Manage and update WordPress plugins, themes, and other features as needed
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the website aligns with the overall marketing strategy
Work with our GGR Team to update the speaker series webpage monthly
Monitor website traffic and analytics to identify areas for improvement
Continuously improve WordPress website design and functionality
Ensure WordPress website content is optimized for search engines
Ensure WordPress website is mobile-responsive and accessible
Attendance in monthly GOSC Staff Meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in website editing or a related field
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and WordPress
Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passion for healthcare and technology
