ALAYA Ministries empowers underserved communities through mentorship, wellness, creativity, and faith‑centered support. As we expand our digital footprint, we’re seeking a dedicated volunteer to help us share our mission across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and our WordPress‑hosted website.
Role Overview:
The Digital Communications & Engagement Lead will guide ALAYA’s online voice and presence. This volunteer will play a key role in shaping how our community sees, understands, and connects with our mission.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and website updates
Create engaging posts, reels, TikTok videos, graphics, and stories that highlight ALAYA’s programs and impact
Update and maintain ALAYA’s WordPress website (pages, blog posts, events, images)
Strengthen online engagement through storytelling and community interaction
Maintain brand consistency using ALAYA’s colors and messaging
Support newsletters, digital campaigns, and event promotions
Track engagement trends and recommend creative strategies
Collaborate with leadership to ensure digital content aligns with mission and goals
Qualifications
Passion for community empowerment, mentorship, and faith‑centered work
Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills
Experience with TikTok, Canva, and social media tools
Basic familiarity with WordPress (editing pages, posting content, updating media)
Creative, reliable, and comfortable working independently
Students, recent graduates, and emerging professionals are encouraged to apply
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week, flexible schedule. Remote with optional in‑person opportunities.
