Basic Job Functions
The role of District Sales Manager (DSM) includes but is not limited to executing on the product group and enterprise‑wide strategy within the assigned territory in order to maximize Nucor's profitability through collaboration with Sales, Production and Technical personnel. This position requires extensive travel on a weekly basis in order to serve Nucor customers.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical or related field
3+ years of outside sales experience or successful completion of Nucor’s DDSM program
Preferred Qualifications
Steel and insulated panel experience
Insulated panel sales experience
