A growing, Philadelphia based, full service agency is searching for a Senior Account Manager (SAM) to join the team. The qualified candidate will bring 5+ years of experience and will serve as the primary day-to-day lead on assigned client accounts. In addition, you will act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner both internally working with creative, media, and production teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. The SAM takes ownership of account performance, contributes to strategic planning, and mentors junior team members while helping grow client relationships and agency revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships
Lead client meetings, presentations, and status updates with confidence and professionalism
Anticipate client needs, identify opportunities, and proactively recommend solutions
Manage client expectations and handle issues or escalations effectively
Translate business objectives into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams
Ensure alignment between client goals, creative strategy, media plans, and execution
Contribute to annual planning, integrated marketing strategies, and brand positioning
Oversee day-to-day execution of multiple campaigns across channels (digital, social, print, video, experiential, etc.)
Manage timelines, scopes of work, deliverables, and budgets
Coordinate with creative, media, production, and external vendors
Ensure all work meets client requirements, brand standards, and agency quality benchmarks
Own account budgets, tracking costs, forecasts, and profitability
Review estimates, scopes, and change orders for accuracy and approval
Support renewals, upselling, and organic growth of existing accounts
Partner with leadership on new business opportunities, pitches, and proposals
REQUIREMENTS
5–8+ years of experience in account management within an advertising or integrated marketing agency
Proven experience managing mid-to-large client accounts
Strong understanding of creative development, production processes, and media fundamentals
Exceptional communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with project management tools including Wrike and Monday
Experience working with national or global brands, B2B and B2C
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
TRAVEL
Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or events
