Job Summary
We are looking for a part‑time associate producer. The ideal candidate will have a love for all things news and a desire to grow and excel in the media business.

Duties and Responsibilities

Write / edit news stories under deadline

Produce content for kait8.com, Region 8 News app, Region 8 Weather app

Follow the strategic plan for the newsroom

Assist with producing newscasts

Maintain excellent people skills to interact with a wide range of staff members and experience levels

Work weekends and holidays as required

Qualifications

College degree preferred

Strong writing and organizational skills

Enjoy a fast‑paced environment

Prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
