Commodity is a contemporary fragrance brand redefining luxury through simplicity, transparency, and personalization. Known for its award‑winning Scent Space collection, Commodity creates expressive, cruelty‑free fragrances designed to adapt to the wearer’s lifestyle and preferences. As we expand our footprint through key retail partnerships like Sephora North America, we’re looking for a dynamic Trade Marketing/Marketing Coordinator to help bring our brand to life at retail and drive performance across all touch points.
Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive social media and content strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion that is both on‑brand and aligned with the marketing and sales strategy
Conceptualize, script, storyboard, and appear in video content, including product demonstrations, tutorials, and promotional assets
Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, design, and production teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑brand content
Build and manage content pipelines across all social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
Stay ahead of digital trends, platform innovations, and audience behaviors to inform strategy and creative direction
Monitor, analyze, and optimize content performance using data, analytics tools, and audience feedback
Establish clear goals, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for all social channels
Present performance insights, trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with broader marketing campaigns and brand objectives
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content creation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of driving engagement, growth, and brand impact through social media content
Strong creative and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to generate and execute striking, on‑brand ideas
Comfortable and confident on camera, with experience creating video content
Experience with scripting, storyboarding, and storytelling for digital platforms
Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Proficiency in social media analytics and performance tracking (engagement, reach, conversion, etc.)
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Passion for luxury, beauty, fragrance, brand‑building and storytelling
The expected base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and employee perks/discounts.
