Job Summary
An Account Manager will focus on identifying areas of opportunity and growth in commercial-purpose loan originations. They will identify areas of opportunity for strategic brand awareness in the commercial lending space with a focus on sales revenue while keeping the company’s core values top of mind. This role requires persuasive and strong business acumen as well as excellent communication and underwriting skills. An exceptional Account Manager should be able to multitask between clients, external and internal business partners, and team leads to establish strategic relationships with other industry experts.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Develop relationships for commercial real estate loans and help increase the client base of commercial real estate loan brokers and borrowers

Analyze prospective sponsors’ commercial real estate loan applications and their ability to repay loans in a timely manner

Determine sponsors’ eligibility based on credit history, analyze financial assets, and evaluate net worth as it relates to the requested loan

Discover people and businesses who need loans from a non-bank lender

Visit potential subject properties

Collect and review relevant underwriting documents

Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors during the term of the loan to ensure successful exit of the BridgeCo loan

Guide clients through the origination and underwriting process required for acquiring a loan

Understand and explain the terms and conditions of the loan to the applicant

Recommend approval or disapproval of the loan application based on information provided by the business and data uncovered during the application process

Skills and Specifications

Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work productively in an unstructured environment

Sound knowledge of commercial real estate loans, lending procedures, and current economic trends

Ability to evaluate the financial situation of clients and their ability to repay loans

Strong communication and leadership skills

Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills

Highly detailed and analytical thinker, relying on logic and critical thinking when evaluating financial information

Ability to maintain long‑term relationships with clients

Minimum Requirements

Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field

Preferred – Minimum 2 years of related work experience

Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

Abilities Required

Ability to meet highest attendance requirements

Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently

Access to reliable transportation

Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.

Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds

Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement

Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment with non‑flexible deadlines

All candidates must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
