About the Role
Join Canon USA as a Senior Account Executive, Workplace Technologies & Services (WTS). You will influence the adoption of Canon’s world‑class hardware and software technology‑based solutions to a dedicated marketplace, addressing key business challenges and promoting the Future of Work. The role requires residing within a reasonable commuting distance to Novi, MI.
Your Impact
Master core capabilities of innovative products, solutions, and technologies from Canon USA and third‑party providers; promote benefits to current and prospective customers to drive sales results and achieve revenue goals.
Learn and utilize Salesforce CRM to manage client and prospect accounts.
Contact an assigned account base via direct calls, customized email campaigns, and social media to develop sales opportunities and establish engagement.
Conduct in‑person discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations; lead strategic conversations with business owners, executives, and stakeholders to identify requirements, competitive trends, and business challenges.
Provide an optimal customer experience throughout the sales process by developing strategic plans to address short‑term and long‑term customer needs and generate new revenue streams.
Leverage a team of technology subject matter experts to enrich knowledge, facilitate sales wins, and achieve customer success through collaboration.
Develop and nurture high‑level relationships within a comprehensive customer base to enhance long‑term viability and account penetration.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Hold a bachelor’s degree plus at least three years of business‑to‑business sales or customer‑facing experience.
Possess a passion, aptitude, and interest to learn new technology and services in a rapidly evolving industry.
Show a successful track record of persuading others to pursue innovative ideas.
Command strong communication skills focused on building solid working relationships.
Work independently and manage time effectively.
Be willing to travel occasionally within the local market; must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $50,000 – $63,160 annually. Eligible for incentive compensation; expected incentive at 100% of plan is $62,869 annually. Also eligible for a transportation allowance.
Workstyle Description
This full‑time position offers a hybrid work schedule. You will report to your local office as directed, be available to customers in‑person or remotely as needed, and may work from home on other business days, except when business needs require otherwise.
