Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Media Coordinator to support the development of internal training content within our manufacturing facility. This role will coordinate, plan, and oversee video production efforts, working closely with internal teams and/or external videographers to ensure high-quality training materials are created efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in an industrial environment and capable of managing multiple projects while translating operational processes into structured visual content.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage training video projects from concept through completion

Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), supervisors, and engineering teams to define training needs and objectives

Develop video plans, shot lists, and production schedules

Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and videographers/editors

Ensure all content aligns with company standards, branding, and training goals

Review and provide feedback on video footage and edited content

Organize and maintain video files, training assets, and documentation

Assist with scripting, storyboarding, and content structure

Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all on-site filming activities

Qualifications

Experience in media coordination, video production, communications, or related field

Strong organizational and project management skills

Basic understanding of video production processes (filming, editing, lighting, audio)

Ability to translate technical processes into clear, structured training content

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Familiarity with training development or instructional design

Experience working with external vendors or creative professionals

Knowledge of video editing software

Experience with basic motion graphics or training visuals

On-site work within an active manufacturing facility

Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
