Social Media Marketing Manager We operate within the sports and recreation space, offering programs and experiences designed to bring communities together. Job Description This position is centered on creating and posting content that reflects the energy and personality of a sports-based brand. The right candidate brings fresh ideas, understands how to maintain a consistent online presence, and is comfortable working independently with minimal oversight. Your job is to keep the brand active, engaging, and evolving through thoughtful posting. As the online presence grows, additional hours, responsibilities, and pay may become available. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Posting and scheduling content across all active platforms
Writing captions and maintaining a consistent voice
Using new and existing media to create regular weekly content
Capturing occasional content on-site when needed
Monitoring engagement and adjusting posting patterns based on performance
Helping plan simple content ideas that fit within the sports space
Staying up-to-date on algorithmic changes and best practices on each platform
Qualifications Ideal Candidate:
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to craft narratives through storytelling
Experience managing social platforms or portfolios
Intuitive sense of timing, trends, and what resonates
Organized and consistent
Able to work independently without constant oversight
Has reliable transportation
Additional Information Hours: Around 5–15 hours per week depending on content needs Location: Mostly remote; occasional local content capture may be helpful Reports To: Business Owner / Entrepreneur
