The QTI Group is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to execute new business initiatives and client relationship management/development for QTI's Executive, Professional and Administrative Search team. The Business Development Manager will strive to meet and exceed business development objectives by working closely with existing and potential clients and taking a strategic approach to grow client relationships by uncovering recruiting needs and developing strategic partnerships.Every day is different as we work with clients across a wide variety of industries and business segments!
Location: Hybrid - QTI's beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, office with free covered parking and fitness facility access!Responsibilities:Prospect new clients.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current clients and prospective clients to generate new business.
Schedule sales meetings and develop and deliver sales presentations to build successful client relationships.
Receive, respond, and/or triage prospect inquires, leads, referrals from various sources.
Conduct client discovery by leveraging available information (CRM & ATS)
Negotiate pricing and terms of service agreements and contracts with clients.
Execute corporate sales strategies, campaigns, and drops developed in collaboration with the Marketing department.
Participate in local professional, business, and civic organizations to enhance personal development, promote brand awareness, and generate leads and opportunities.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and client stakeholders to ensure optimization and retention of relationships.
Develop strong internal partnerships with recruiters, consultants, leaders, and offices throughout The QTI Group to facilitate partnerships and referrals.
Assist with ongoing client needs, proactive outreach, and check-ins including phone calls, video meetings and in person meetings.
Support Marketing in the creation of proposals and RFP responses.
Perform administrative functions timely and accurately including;Maintain current and accurate client records with documentation of activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Assist in coordinating activities related to the new client onboarding, intake processes.
Forecast and track key account metrics.
Complete and coordinate RFPs, client contracts, and proposals.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
3+ years' strategic business development experience, preferably selling professional services
Strong client presentation skills (i.e. \"board room presence\") with a professional demeanor and consultative style to promote QTI's brand
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with organizations and individuals at varying levels of responsibility (e.g., C-Level, Directors, non-profit leaders, Boards of Directors, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to leverage CRM and other tools to effectively manage schedule and sales activities
Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Entrepreneurial with a vigorous sense of business development to grow and expand the business.
Energetic, solution-oriented, and self-motivated with high integrity and dependability; driven by a strong sense of urgency, results orientation, and a commitment to achieving ambitious goals.
Superior interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and peers in a small team environment
Ability to travel within the local area to call on and meet with clients (up to 25%)
