Chesapeake Search Partners has been engaged by a private lending firm specializing in real estate investment financing. The firm is seeking an experienced Account Executive to originate, structure, and close private lending transactions while building long-term relationships with real estate investors and broker partners.
Responsibilities
Originate and close private lending deals across multiple product types
Build and manage a strong pipeline of investor and broker relationships
Analyze deals and structure financing solutions aligned with borrower goals
Manage transactions from initial inquiry through funding
Maintain disciplined follow-up and pipeline management in CRM
Meet or exceed production and revenue targets
Represent firm at industry events and networking functions
Collaborate with underwriting and operations for smooth, timely closings
Deliver a high-touch borrower experience that drives repeat and referral business
Key Qualifications
2+ years of private or hard money lending experience (required)
Proven success in loan origination, sales, or business development
Strong knowledge of real estate investment strategies (fix & flip, DSCR, rental, bridge)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
Strong analytical skills and deal structuring ability
CRM proficiency (Zoho preferred) and Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for experienced candidates
