About the Role

CoStar seeks a Director of Market Analytics to join our growing analytics organization. The selected candidate will produce analytic content for the South Florida market and serve as a client- and industry-facing representative, delivering CoStar’s market view and outlook. This role is based in either Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Responsibilities

  • Produce meaningful, relevant, and insightful analysis of real‑estate market conditions for inclusion in CoStar’s product offering.
  • Create written narratives for market and sub‑market reports, deliver presentations to clients and at industry events, produce written and visual content for the CoStar news platform, and produce analytics for Homes.com.
  • Engage in interactions and discussions with CoStar customers.
  • Translate analysis and insights into meaningful content for the market.
  • Deliver in‑person market updates to CoStar clients and industry groups, focusing on economic, commercial real‑estate, and housing market trends in South Florida.
  • Regularly review and monitor CoStar data for accuracy, timeliness, and quality, correcting errors and outliers promptly.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Eight or more years of experience in commercial real‑estate, with some experience in the South Florida market.
  • High level of understanding of commercial real‑estate fundamentals, economic theory, and principles applied to the industry.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively at a high volume of written content.
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with South Florida markets, as a resident or real‑estate professional.
  • Strong work ethic and team‑oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or other graduate degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Polished presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience speaking and presenting market‑condition data to both large groups and executive‑level audiences.
  • Client orientation and commitment to help clients succeed.
  • SQL experience.
