Job description
Researches, prepares and produces electronic media (computer interactive CDs, interactive websites, audiovisual, film, video) for training, sales, promotion, documentation, and other communicative purposes for both internal and external audiences. Consults with user to determine appropriate medium, creates product concepts, plans production, and produces media to include scriptwriting, location scouting, shot selection, video shooting, tape logging, music and sound effect selection, computer graphics, animation, digital effect creation, final editing and tape duplication. May act as liaison with vendors ensuring scheduling, costs and quality requirements are met.
Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
Create digital content for publication/documentation, safety and instructional media
Maintain a media database
Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals
Insure compliance to NG branding standards, policies & procedures
Conduct employee yearly reviews and 1:1 meetings
Conduct quarterly JSAs
Create team goals and objectives in line with NG business and operational goals
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 10+ yrs practical experience in a media related field
10 years direct experience in management, within defense, aerospace, or manufacturing environment
Skillful with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees and Leadership
Must be a US citizen
Current or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Experience in creating media content for publications, process documentation and instructional use
Well versed in digital photography, video editing & manipulation software
Illustration & design for publication experience
Current or ability to obtain and maintain BATF Employee Possessor credentials
Team oriented with an ability to lead and inspire others.
Understanding of NG policy & procedures, ITAR regulations and internal security protocols
Experience with PES / Lean principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Safety oriented, experience in hazardous operations.
Ability to manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
Script and article writing
Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
Understands and implements PES/ LEAN principles.
Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to senior leadership
Experience working in technical engineering environment.
Record keeping and retrieval
Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $132,600.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
