Provide clear responsibilities
The Southwest Regional Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales, West, Kelly O’Grady.
Ethical Leadership
Provide leadership by example to your groups 1099 independent territory sales representatives through field visits and frequent communications.
Adhere to existing and propose new business development activities, for the achievement of the Regions Sales Plan.
Collaborate with the Sales Director to manage activities with key alliance partners such as Essilor, Vision Source, VSP, PECAA and Regional Doctor Alliance and Buying Groups.
Educate and train the region’s sales representatives to improve and reinforce sales performance and productivity. Provide clear and timely feedback.
Customer and Prospect Management
Review, analyze and participate with territory sales representatives in the strategic development of prospects and current customers.
Establish and maintain profitable relationships with customers of behalf of Tura, while building relationships with key decision makers.
Interact with key players from each of the Alliance Groups / Buying Groups.
Collaborate with internal partners to identify and resolve customer issues and problems within the area of responsibility.
Consistently communicate and implement Tura’s business development programs, promotions and initiatives to grow area business.
Be aware of the territory cost of sales and manage to guidelines set forth by the company.
Business Development
Develop a “go-to-market” sales strategy that ensures the attainment of territory Sales Plan.
Work with territory sales representatives to increase customer base and grow market share by identifying opportunities within existing customers and opening new doors for Tura brands
Know and reach out to all “strategic” influencers within the territory.
Administrative
Establish effective daily, weekly and monthly communications with territory sales representatives and the Director of Sales.
Adhere to company policies, procedures and business ethic codes as set forth by Tura.
Provide detailed feedback on territory sales representative and key account activities to Sales Director and company President during monthly KPI calls.
Efficiency in all MS Office 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Mac applications.
Efficiency on EyeRep, Tura’s order entry and customer relationship platform on iPad.
