Role: Regional Sales Manager – South‑Eastern US
The
Regional Sales Manager – South‑Eastern US
serves as the primary division representative responsible for selling assigned products and services across the South‑Eastern US region for all helicopter products. The role includes achieving sales volume targets, market penetration, and profitability objectives while developing and maintaining customer accounts, presenting new concepts, and ensuring optimal sales service. Coordination with sector and corporate teams supports customer relations and corporate objectives.
Role Functions
In conjunction with the Sales Director and Business Development, determine sales territory strategy and qualify potential prospects.
Conduct sales calls, prepare and deliver product presentations, provide product support, and perform other sales and marketing functions as required.
Coordinate sales effort with division/sector teams and relevant BU personnel.
Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with customers to optimize customer base profit.
Provide feedback to Operations and the division/sector team to assist with qualification of customer requirements and the organization’s ability to serve those requirements.
Develop sales intermediary selection, negotiation, and agreements.
Complete induction information for each customer transaction in cooperation with Customer Service Representatives and Customer Program Representatives.
Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Salesforce.com
(SFDC) database.
Attend industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops, training sessions, and other special events as required; host and coordinate customer visits.
Manage transactional costs and margins by applying thorough knowledge of market segment cost drivers.
Carry out special projects, including continuous improvement and new bid opportunities as assigned.
Adhere to corporate and government business compliance, and Company Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and all associated Business Manuals.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in engine or airframe MRO sales; or
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), with demonstrated knowledge of customer segments, market dynamics, and ability to align engine MRO solutions to meet customer requirements and drive measurable satisfaction outcomes; or
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with production processes, with proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally to identify and leverage key operational drivers that optimize sales performance, improve service delivery, and enhance profit margins; or
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering technology, or related fields; or experience in lieu of 10 years of experience in sales or MRO engineering or management in a relevant commercial and/or government role.
Valid passport required.
Desired Skills
Preferred MRO sales experience in the South‑Eastern US region.
Preferred hands‑on experience supporting helicopter and/or turbine engine variants, with the ability to contribute to maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and service recommendations that improve turnaround time and operational efficiency.
Preferred technical certified training in aviation products, such as A&P technician.
Preferred helicopter sales experience.
