Job Description
The Program Supervisor

is responsible for coordination and management of the daily operations of the overall services in assigned programs.The two priority areas of responsibility include ensuring orientation and ongoing training of employees and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.

What you get to do

Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at assigned programs.

Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to the individual are delivered

Program supervisors are expected to ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled

Provide training for employees

Conduct monthly staff meetings

Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.

Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.

Assistwith daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing,toileting,personalhygieneand more.

Qualifications
What makes you a great fit:

Minimum 18 years of age.

High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

A two-year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities with supervisory experience preferred.

Good communication is key in this role.You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
