Rubbercraft (RCC)
is seeking a
Sales Coordinator
to support customer accounts from initial quotation through order fulfillment and delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a seamless customer experience while supporting sales growth and operational excellence.
The Sales Coordinator partners cross-functionally with engineering, quality, manufacturing, accounting, and sales teams to meet customer requirements, resolve issues, and support account expansion opportunities. This position requires a strong balance of customer service, organizational skills, transactional accuracy, and proactive sales support, with a strong emphasis on effective Salesforce utilization and account management.

Working Conditions
Onsite position based in Long Beach, California
Standard office environment within a manufacturing facility

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, process, and follow up on customer quotations to support order conversion and revenue growth
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling, and account expansion within existing customers
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and long‑term partnerships
Support customer reviews and business discussions to help achieve commercial objectives
Customer Service & Order Management
Manage daily customer account activity, including purchase orders, order entry, order tracking, and production coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication via phone, email, and other channels
Provide timely updates regarding order status, documentation requests, and delivery schedules
Address customer concerns related to delivery, pricing, quality, and service in coordination with the Customer Service Manager
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions, quotes, opportunities, and account activity
Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipeline information, and order data
Generate reports and insights to support account management and business decisions
Support Salesforce adoption and process improvement initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, accounting, and sales teams to ensure successful order execution
Coordinate internally to resolve issues affecting delivery, quality, or customer satisfaction
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service and operational processes
Marketing & Commercial Support
Coordinate marketing initiatives that support brand visibility and customer engagement
Assist with website updates, marketing materials, brochures, and sales collateral
Support trade shows and events, including logistics, booth coordination, and vendor communication
Provide additional commercial and marketing support as needed
Additional Duties
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment
Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in inside sales, account management, or order management strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Positive, professional attitude with both customers and internal teams
