About the Role
This is a senior-level opportunity for a media and communications leader who thrives in high-stakes environments and has strong instincts built through real-world experience.

You will lead strategic communications for a portfolio of high-growth clients, working directly with founders and executives during critical business moments such as capital raises, product launches, and major industry developments.

This role requires strong ownership, executive presence, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.

What You Will Own
Client Leadership and Strategy

Serve as the primary strategic communications partner for multiple high growth clients

Lead narrative development, positioning, and media strategy for founders and executive teams

Manage client relationships with a high level of ownership and accountability

Anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and drive measurable outcomes

Media and Earned Coverage

Secure coverage across top tier outlets including Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, Axios, and relevant industry publications

Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists across finance, technology, and innovation

Develop press releases, op eds, messaging frameworks, and executive thought leadership

Team Leadership and Development

Mentor junior team members and help elevate overall team performance

Contribute to internal processes, standards, and team culture

Business Development and Firm Growth

Allocate approximately 20 percent of time to new business efforts including pitching and client development

Build relationships with founders, operators, and investors across target sectors

Contribute to the firm’s growth strategy and market positioning

What Our Client Is Looking For

4+ years of experience in PR, communications, or journalism

Strong background in a PR agency environment preferred

Direct experience in fintech required, with broader financial communications exposure

Proven track record of securing earned media and maintaining active journalist relationships

Experience independently leading client accounts

Strong writing skills and editorial judgment

Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and compelling narratives

Comfortable operating in fast paced and ambiguous environments

Existing network across finance, technology, or innovation sectors

Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary between $110,000 and $130,000

Performance and commission-based bonuses
