Job Summary:

The Director of Marketing and Sales is responsible for leading Longview's occupancy growth, brand visibility, sales strategy, marketing initiatives, and development activities. This position oversees and assists the full sales cycle from phone calls to move-in coordination for independent living, assisted living, and enhanced assisted living.

In collaboration with the CEO, leadership team, board external affairs committee, and department staff, the Director ensures alignment between marketing strategy, sales execution, fundraising efforts, and Longview's mission. The role supervises the marketing and sales team and is accountable for achieving occupancy, revenue, customer experience, and community engagement goals.

Compensation: Salaried $80,000-$95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Represent Longview in a professional, welcoming, and service-oriented manner in all interactions with residents, families, visitors, staff, and community partners.
Oversee marketing and communications efforts across digital, print, social media, website content, public relations, advertising, and event channels to promote Longview as a premier senior living community;
Conduct and support community tours and presentations for prospective residents and families, highlighting amenities, services, and lifestyle benefits while helping assess individual needs to support appropriate placement and conversion.
Coordinate and support community engagement events, including wellness programs and informational sessions for prospective residents and their families, to enhance visibility and support occupancy goals
Support development and fundraising aimed at achieving occupancy and revenue goals in collaboration with the CEO, Board of Directors' External Affairs Committee, Longview leadership, and the Operations and Development Specialist.
Oversee lead generation, prospecting, and lead conversion efforts across all living levels including patio homes, independent living, assisted living, and enhanced assisted living, to support occupancy goals.
Plan and support execution of weekly lead generation and outreach goals, including daily prospect contact efforts designed to maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve established occupancy goals.
Maintain and update website content through the organization's Content Management System (CMS), ensuring accurate, timely, and engaging information for prospective residents and families;
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of prospect inquiries, lead activity, and sales information within the CRM database;
Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor communities, industry and customer trends.
Assist with donor engagement activities, community events, and fundraising initiatives that support Longview's mission and strategic goals
Supervise and support marketing and sales associates in achieving occupancy, outreach, and customer service goals.
In collaboration with the CEO, establish strategic goals and ensure alignment between marketing strategy, sales execution, and Longview's mission to provide high-quality senior living services.
Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age;
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, public relations, or a related field strongly preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered;
3-5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or occupancy management in senior living, healthcare, or a related service environment, including supervisory experience preferred.
Experience supporting fundraising, donor engagement, or community development initiatives preferred
Experience in consultative sales, relationship-based sales, or customer acquisition roles preferred
Prior experience supervising or leading teams preferred
Experience using CRM systems (ie Sherpa) for lead tracking, sales pipeline management, or customer relationship tracking helpful, but not essential
Demonstrated success in sales, occupancy growth, or revenue generation preferred
Satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical required
