Overview
This role is a Sales Representative for Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure (CRHF) products within a defined geographic district. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, build and sustain long‑term relationships with key stakeholders, and support the overall cardiovascular sales and marketing objectives of the region.
Responsibilities
Promote and sell Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Develop, build, and strengthen long‑term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, and key opinion leaders.
Pursue leads, assess needs and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure products and/or services.
Promote the expanding service of Medtronic's CRHF products and services to existing and competitive customers.
Conduct and/or evaluate market research, including customer and competitor activities.
Develop and/or implement market development plans and strategies and adjust them as needed.
Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference for local qualified candidates and those with Medtronic experience.
Successful medical sales record, preferably with pacing or stent products.
Experience with sales and personnel management functions.
Knowledge of pacing or interventional cardiology customer base.
Additional experience in marketing, training, technical services or related areas.
Physical Job Requirements
Employee is regularly required to be independently mobile and interact with a computer.
Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Extended periods of computer-based work.
Hearing, sight and speaking ability required.
Ability to use computers.
Ability to travel extensively by car and plane; valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance required.
Sitting or standing for 8 hours per day.
Wear lead apron for long periods of time (average 2–3 hrs).
Ability to operate moving vehicle.
Ability to work in Cath Labs and/or O.R. with radiation exposure.
Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday‑through‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm schedule.

Competitive base salary range across the United States (USD) – example: 135,000.
