Key Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with practice group leaders and attorneys to identify, pursue, and convert new client opportunities.
Lead the preparation and coordination of pitches, proposals, and presentations for prospective and existing clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on business development best practices.
Oversee tracking and analysis of pipeline activity, client engagement metrics, and competitive intelligence using CRM and experience management platforms.
Manage multiple concurrent projects with precision, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Mentor and guide junior business development staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive dynamics to proactively surface opportunities for firm growth.
Leverage technology tools — including AI-enabled platforms — to enhance the efficiency and impact of business development activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; graduate or advanced degree is a strong plus.
At least 5-6 years of progressive experience in business development, marketing, or a related function within a law firm, professional services organization, or similarly complex environment.
Solid grasp of business development strategy and go-to-market principles as applied in a professional services context.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Strong analytical mindset with well-developed problem-solving and organizational capabilities.

Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring professional staff.
