About this role
This position is for a Technical Publications Writer who works independently, analyzes and monitors complex publications, and collaborates cross‑functionally to create and maintain technical publications.

This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week.

Key Responsibilities

Research and write technical publications required for sale, installation, service, and operation of Carrier products.

Organize material according to department style manual and format standards.

Research the function and operation of the product, gathering information from sources in Marketing and Engineering, evaluating data, reviewing layout, creating artwork, and reviewing documents for accuracy.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

1+ years of experience in literature or publication experience

1+ years of experience with Adobe publications software FrameMaker or InDesign

Preferred Qualifications

FrameMaker publishing software experience

Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software experience

Ability to communicate ideas at an appropriate level

Strong proficiency in organizing and editing written material

Capability to coordinate team efforts

Strong analytical skills

Possess in‑depth knowledge of electronic publishing and graphics production

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Self‑direction and organization skills

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 and $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
